An Exhibition- cum- Sale of Art forms was successfully organised for two days (12th and 13th October 2019) at Kusumtai Wankhede Hall in Nagpur by Ms. Neha Munje, the founder of the Artistika Collective.
The Exhibition was visited by many Art lovers, budding artists and common public from the city who appreciated and enjoyed the same.
The Exhibition was inaugurated at the hands of Shri Arun Morghade, the noted portrait artist from the city of Nagpur.
Mr Praful Dekate, the famous artist, spoke on the occasion and enlightened the audience about various facets of watercolor painting. Mr Atul Pardhi, the prominent artist, also educated the participants about Mural Art.
Mrs. Neha Munje, the founder, in her speech highlighted the significance of traditional handmade art forms and the need for its propagation and transmission to new generations. She also exhorted the aspirant participants to choose study of art as first priority for career building rather than relegating the same to the secondary option on account of low academic score etc. She also explained how Art can be a lucrative source of earning and can be operated from home and that how such Art Exhibitions not only promote Indian Art forms but also become the cause of joy and happiness so badly needed by the society in the stressful time.
Some of the prominent objectives behind organizing the event is to motivate budding artists and also to spread awareness and concern about differently abled students, for which a part of the Exhibition was specially earmarked for them. Under this initiative Samvedana Autistic Children School, Kalyan Deaf Dump School, Ye Jindagi Foundation and independent divyang participant Mrs. Chanda Kale showcased their work at the Exhibition.
The Exhibition saw huge response from the participants and the general public who visited and enjoyed the display of multifarious Art forms.
